This Australia Day, I want to extend my warmest wishes to everyone across our great nation. As we celebrate the spirit of Australia, it is a special moment for us to reflect on the values that truly unite us community, collaboration, and inclusion.

On our national day, we can reflect on our complete and complex history and understand that acknowledging and reconciling our past helps lay a path to a stronger future. We respect and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ survival, resilience, and over 65,000 years of continuous culture.

We honour the stories and sacrifices of those who secured our freedoms. While this day holds unique meanings for us all, reflecting our diverse experiences, we celebrate our dynamic, multicultural nation where every belief and contribution is valued. Together, we remain committed to a community that is truly strong, united, and connected.

I believe that every single one of you plays a vital role in shaping our society. My vision is to see a future where opportunities are accessible to everyone and where every individual feels valued and respected. By supporting one another, staying engaged, and embracing our incredible diversity, we can build communities that don’t just survive but thrive and stand resilient for generations to come.
